What were your first impressions on the book?
-my first impression of the book was that it was another animal story with an animal related problem ,a boring plot with a happy ending like any other tale of animal
Why did Burmese hate George Orwell? Was he a traitor?
- they hated him because he left them when they thought them most so he was considered a traitor.

Theme: Betrayal, Deceit

Title: Animal Farm
Why would he name it "Animal Farm"
- because the government its like an animal farm full of deceit and chaos

Why or how did all of these forms of governments come after WWI?
-after the war every group of people with their different ideas, decided that to make things "equal"they all started to make their own forms of government.

What is imperialism?
- it means to conquer lands in the name of an empire

How do you define "truth?"
-i don't think that truth can be define because its depends an who is saying what.
Does truth change in forms or does our interpretations change or does it stay the same?

-the truth varies depending from what point of view of whose talking
What is considered a conspiracy?

Are we doing the right thing

-it depends an who is getting affected by the actions.

What does the pig resemble? Why the form of a fairy-tale?
-the pig resembles modern leaders getting fat of the people's work work.

1.To me the first impresion was that the story would be a fairy tale.
3. I disagree because people were afraid of another horrible battle so they wanted new governmnets to prevent that form happening.
6. I actually agree with this one because a conspiracy is a group of people planning to do something wrong
4. I define truth of being the honest reality of something be it either promblem or a situation
I agree with the rest of the statements because there are similar to my replies to the question.

I do not agree with some of these statements.

1.My impressions were that it looked very boring, and the fact that animals could talk seemed very young for a high school novel.
***I agree with your point of view.

2.Burmese hated George Orwell simply because of his character and how he treated other. He wasnít a traitor that just him.
***You need to explain what they did not like about his character. Be more specific.

3.Its named animal farm because itís about animals that rebel, against the people. Those were mistreated at an animal farm.
*** Good interpretation.

4.Imperialism is extending your rule over a foreign country.
***Good definition.

5.Truth is being honest to people.
***Elaborate a bit more.

6.Some people say the truth but not all the time itís the full truth, so people usually consider truth sometimes being a way around a lie.
***Does the truth change or do people just interpret it in different ways?

7.Conspiracy is a secret among two or more people who perform a unlawful act.
***Good definition. But it sounds like its from a dictionary.

8.As humans we arenít doing the right thing, global warming, murder and war. Life isnít about fighting and mistreating each other.
***Good points.

9.The pig is very smart but sly. Its in the form a fairy-take because it gives the pig to express its mental ways that it cant in real life.
***What does the pig resemble? You can relate it to the world leaders during WWII.

10.Satire is sarcasm. You can get your point across by being true and being mature about whatever youíre talking about.
***Good point. try using something like personification or something similar.

What were your first impressions on the book?
The book starts off slow. But you get drawn to the plots that begin to occur.

Why did Burmese hate George Orwell? Was he a traitor?
I don't really think he was a traitor. He didn't do anything wrong, he is just being himself.

Theme: Betrayal, Deceit
Lots of betraying kept occurring between everyone in the story.

Title: Animal Farm
Why would he name it "Animal Farm"

3 words, animals vs. people.

Why or how did all of these forms of governments come after WWI?
Everyone wanted power, taking authority into place.

What is imperialism?
Adding additional rules and regulations

How do you define "truth?"
To be loyal and to be able to not fib and be completely open about a certain topic

Does truth change in forms or does our interpretations change or does it stay the same?
Truth can change but as long as it is the truth then, what other question is there to ask?

What is considered a conspiracy?
Any type of conflict

Are we doing the right thing?
I wouldn't consider it a right or wrong.

What does the pig resemble? Why the form of a fairy-tale?

It reflects the way people are freeloaders and take in all credit when most labor was done from others.

Is satire the only way to get your point across?
No, you can use personification or other ways, but it's settled that he used satire.
